Last year’s DEEP 6 Irish Coffee Cream Ale has rich, deep malt character with toasted caramel and toffee notes that complement the added cold brewed coffee to give richness in flavour. Peated malts were added for a subtle smoky balanced aroma and flavour. Oats and lactose were also added to give a creamy texture and mouthfeel. ABV: 9%, SRM: 25, IBU: 15

Every fall prior to lake freeze-up, LOWBrewCo ’deep sixes’ bottles of small batch, handcrafted beer to the bottom of Lake of the Woods. Placed below the ice line and secured in anchored cages, the beer receives the benefit of (at a minimum six month) aging between four and ten degrees Celsius in a gentle lake current. This results in really cool beer.
